Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky is proposing a motion to amend LAMC 41.18. If approved, it will again allow homeless encampments around schools, daycares, parks, and libraries. Her motion will make enforcement prohibiting these illegal encampments untenable.
LAMC 41.18 is a common-sense ordinance providing safe perimeters.
Yaroslavsky's motion will endanger our children.
